Any individuals, organizations, businesses, or governments are welcome to join theATL.social. Persons must be at least 18 years old. While the service is intended for those with interests, connections, or curiosity about the Metro Atlanta, Georgia region, there are no requirements to live in Atlanta to join.*
(While non-US Mastodon servers may connect with theATL.social, only US-based IP addresses may apply for membership without review. Non-US IP addresses may still join as a user; however, an administrator review is required to complete the signup.

theATL Social Networks LLC operates the Mastodon software, connects local users with servers around the world, curates Atlanta-focused content, and provides support to its subscriber members. -
theATL.social is an actively moderated site that, while permitting and encouraging a wide range of speech and content, does implement and enforce server rules to ensure conviviality and compliance with Federal and State Laws:
